Dear Clayton Park Junior High Families,

I understand your concerns regarding COVID 19 and wanting to keep your child safe.  However, at this time, school is still deemed the safest place for students according to Public Health.  All schools in HRCE are following the directive of Public Health. Presently, school is in session and teachers are teaching in person at CPJH.  We are not in a blended learning model where teachers do both in person and online teaching.  As a parent, you have the right to keep your child home. However, if you decide to keep your child home, Google Classroom will have to be accessed. Resources and materials are uploaded on Google Classroom by teachers at CPJH. As Google Classroom does not capture all the learning that takes place in the classroom, your child is encouraged to communicate with classmates about any discussions and notes that take place in class. In addition, work packages are not provided as in person teaching is occurring. All assessments are currently being completed in person at school. ​

Parent Teacher Conferences

Please find attached information on our upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences being held this December 3rd. Teachers will be available for a phone conference from 1 – 5pm. Please take the time to make an appointment with your child’s teacher to discuss their progress this school term. Booking appointments will be available until December 3 rd at 10am. A reminder that there is no school for students on December 3rd .
