Clayton Park Junior High

November 7th Update

Good Evening Clayton Park Families,

Grade 7 Immunizations

Grade 7 immunizations will take place tomorrow, Tuesday November 8th.  A reminder for students to have a healthy breakfast which helps ease some of the anxious feelings students may have.

Remembrance Day

The Remembrance Day Observance will be Thursday, November 10th.   Students are encouraged to wear a poppy.

School Clothing Order

Clayton Park Junior High is offering families and students the opportunity to purchase school clothing. The link to order clothing is :

School Clothing Link

The link is also on the school’s website. The last day to purchase school clothing will be November 21st.

Notification of Absences

This is a reminder for parents/guardians that there is a new School Messenger Safe Arrivals Process for reporting student absences.  Please see the attachment for the three options available which include a new phone line, a SchoolMessenger app and SchoolMessenger through PowerSchool.

Please see the attached document for support with this.

Important things to note:

The old Safe Arrivals phone line is no longer used, so please do not leave messages on that line. SchoolMessenger will only accept notifications for full day absences. If the student plans to be out for part of the morning only, please report it for the full day and we will make the correction at the school when the student arrives.
It is not necessary to call the school if you have already reported the absence via one of the options noted above.
