Good Evening Clayton Park Students and Families,
A big thank you to all the parents and guardians who attended Progress Conferences last week. It was wonderful for teachers to share the successes of our students and to see so many families supporting their learners.
Stuff-A-Bus Success
The Wild Cat Crew did an outstanding job with the Stuff-A-Bus campaign, helping to collect numerous donations. A heartfelt thanks to our students for gathering items and to the families who contributed to this initiative. Congratulations to Awet Habtom for winning the Stuff-A-Bus box decorating contest—your creativity was truly inspiring!
Basketball Achievements
A special thank you to Mr. Norris and Jason Hopkins, one of our dedicated parent volunteers, for coaching the male-identifying basketball team. The boys’ team advanced to the finals of the Sackville High basketball tournament—an incredible accomplishment! Congratulations to the coaches and team members for your hard work and determination.
Thanks also to Ms. Leblanc and Ms. Mollison for coaching the female-identifying basketball team this season, and to Ms. Bhasin and Ms. Roula for leading the Math Club during lunch hours. Your commitment to providing opportunities for our students is greatly appreciated.
Extracurricular Opportunities
We’re fortunate to have many clubs, activities, and extracurricular programs available during lunch hours, thanks to our amazing staff who volunteer their time. These opportunities help create a vibrant and engaging school community.

Wildcat Weeklies Winners!
At Clayton Park Junior High, we take pride in recognizing students who exemplify respect for their peers and staff, demonstrate kindness to everyone, and strive to do their best! Each week, our staff selects one student from each grade level who embodies these values.
The Wildcat Weeklies winners are announced every Friday at the end of the day. Ms. Canavan, our Principal, will send an email to each winner’s family to celebrate their achievement as that week’s Wildcat Weeklies recipient. Winners will also receive a certificate and a special pencil as a token of our appreciation.
We encourage all students to continue showing respect and kindness in our school community. Together, we can foster an environment where everyone feels valued and inspired to succeed!
