Clayton Park Junior High Remembers – November 7th, 2024
On Thursday, November 7th, Clayton Park Junior High had the privilege of coming together as a community to honor and remember the sacrifices made by those who served in the military, both past and present, through our Remembrance Day ceremony.
We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff and students who helped organize and lead the ceremony. Your dedication and hard work made this event truly meaningful, and we are deeply proud of how it turned out.
I want to extend a special Thank You to Our Students who took on leadership roles in planning and running the ceremony, and they did an outstanding job. From creating and reading moving reflections to presenting poems, songs, and artwork, the students demonstrated incredible maturity, thoughtfulness, and respect for the significance of this day. Their leadership ensured the ceremony was not only a reflection of history but also a reminder of the importance of remembrance, unity, and gratitude.
The ceremony was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by so many, and it allowed us to reflect on the importance of peace and the responsibility we share in fostering it. Remembrance Day is a time to acknowledge the bravery and commitment of those who served, and it is essential that we continue to pass down the stories of their courage to the next generation. The ceremony at Clayton Park was a meaningful way to ensure these stories live on, especially through the involvement of our students.
