Clayton Park Junior High

Communication to Families- September 28th

Hello Clayton Park Junior High Families,

Wednesday the 30th is Orange Shirt Day.  This is a day to reflect on and honor the survivors of the Residential School system, which only ended less than 25 year ago.  We encourage you to wear an orange shirt if you can and to take time to learn about the history of residential schools and the long-lasting effects they have had on our First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities across Canada.

To read more on this, and for further updates, please see the communication document attached.

Thank you,
